Geberit Live in New York!
An evening to remember
Geberit hosted an event for designers and architects in New York City on May 20, 2019. Titled ‘An Evening with Chad Oppenheim’, the evening featured a presentation by Oppenheim, a world-renowned architect who emphasizes harmony with natural surroundings in all his projects.
Over 100 interior designers, architects, and plumbing industry professionals gathered at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by presentations by Oppenheim and Geberit North America Vice President of Sales Phil Boggs. Oppenheim shared images from several of his projects around the world, demonstrating how the interplay among light, water, materials, and the environment allow a built structure to fit organically within its natural surroundings. Boggs then explained how Geberit products help designers overcome challenges they face when trying to build spaces that meet homeowner needs for accessibility and environmental friendliness.
Following the presentation, attendees spent two hours networking over food and drinks. Oppenheim remained on hand, greeting attendees and signing copies of his book 'Spirit of Place'. Attendees who snapped a selfie with the Geberit ‘Cube’ and posted it to our Instagram channel were entered into a drawing for a special slipcased edition of 'Spirit of Place', with winners announced at a later date.
